They asked me how I knew,

I of course replied,

When your heart's on fire,

So I chaffed
them and I gaily laughed,
to think they could doubt my love.
Yet today
my love has flown away.

anon15sblah:k..i agree its not 'the' sad one...but a unique sort of simplicity is what makes this song so sad..most sad songs are predictable.....if not for this, then which one/s?
